This project began as an informal discussion with the client who was initially exploring options for adding an extra bedroom—uncertain whether they would stay or sell. Through conversations about their love for their home, we suggested an attic conversion as a thoughtful solution.
We agreed on a scoping phase including design development through multiple revisions to ensure the final plan met their vision. While planning permission was underway, we provided a detailed quotation, encouraging the client to seek alternative quotes to confirm our competitiveness. Although we weren’t the cheapest, the client valued our expertise and chose us to undertake the project.
We outlined the full process including a comprehensive project timeline and ensured full adherence to building control and statutory requirements. The work involved converting the attic into a simple, functional room with an ensuite which the client was delighted with at completion.
Since the initial conversion, we’ve further enhanced the space with fitted wardrobes and a bespoke study area turning it into a versatile and stylish addition.
